(More customer reviews)Elegant prose does not a good book make. I dislike that sentence almost as much as I dislike this book. It is a jaundiced look at relationships - which is fine - it is whispery and suggestive, which is also fine. What is not so fine is the forced plot, the inchoate characters, and the rudimentary and repetitive scenes. I picked up this book at a friend's house. She warned me not to read it, but read it I did. Next time, dear friend, I will listen.
