Stange has done a masterful job of including both historic and contemporary accounts that go far beyond mere 'hunting stories' to reach into the minds and emotions of the contributors. It is a 'must read' for women hunters especially, but also for men who hunt and for nonhunters who would understand these remarkable and eloquent women who hunt.
