(More customer reviews)I loved this book. Larten is my all-time favorite character and to be able to learn more about how he became what he was during the original series is wonderful. There were parts of this where I gasped, where I laughed, and where I wanted to cheer. My only complaint is that it is too short. I read it in one sitting, practically devoured it (then again, I read a lot of books in one sitting). I would definitely recommend this book to those who loved Cirque Du Freak (of course read the first book of this prequel first).
